I've just finished my reporting on
GERD and Barrett's esophagus. I started a week before the actual reporting. At first, I thought I could find those in the M.S. book but i thought wrong. Darn! The topics were too short! Thinking that my professor isn't going to be happy, if i just took it from the book, i thought of using the web. Ah! At last, a slice of heaven. There were the topics! I've found them...but i'd have to read all 10000+ words (Haha. A little exaggerated there. I think it's just 2000+ words) to understand my report. Plus, I also have to know DES and Achalasia and their x-ray diagrams - related to GERD. Finally, the day of the report came. It worked out just fine! I didn't even need my cue cards. I was discussing all the way and I was able to answer all the question of my professor except for
"how high will you elevate the head of the bed?" ... (just elevate the head) I thought to myself *lol. I know I read it somewhere! I just can't remember! I said at least 7-10 inches.
"..... you should elevate the head of the bed at least 4-8 inches" ... Hot darn!

That was embarrassing, not knowing the report! But what the heck, at least I got a good grade. It's not the highest though but I'll take it.

Here's another one, a community case study. This time it's a group work. The presentation was scheduled after 1 week (Darn! Why does it have to be so close?!). I knew that the survey and the actual presentation was going to be easy. The tricky part was the documentation. The tallying was tiring. Interpretation should be explained well. You can't just say that this is 15% and the other is 85%. Interpretation should have the answer to "why". Why is it 85% or 15%? It may seem easy to interpret 1... but all 71, we didn't think so. It took us 2 whole days to finish the interpretation (not to mention we also have to organize the presentation if we wanted it to be successful). The leaders assigned the other members to prepare a dance number. Other finishing touches then we were finally done! The day of the presentation. It went great but we lacked some important data. We were given a chance to add the missing information to raise our final grades. Yay!

Err... about the dance number..... i'll let you know when I upload it to youtube. All right!!

Finally, the endless advance reading. You'll never know when the professor will give a test.
Well, that wraps it up (Forgot to tell the other things... those weren't that important anyway!)
Feels like i've been through hell not once not twice.. Thrice!! But all's fair in love and war
*lol(What are you talking about?!).Seriously, everyone gets into a tight situation. Its just a matter of clever decision making.
Use your head!!! Right?
Even after all the mayhem, after all the nose-bleeding terms, after all the tedious writing,
there is still much to do..
